About Me

Me
My name is Sean, welcome to my blog.

First off let me say that I do not claim to be a mystic or some spiritual guru. I am flawed individual just like the everyone else. I am just a guy going through it and I happened to stop along the way and ask “what else”.

Ever since I was a little boy, I felt that there was more to life than just the daily grind that most people submit too, myself included. As an adult I have tried to fit into the standard expectations that society places on us. Frankly I have been pretty successful at it. I am married with two beautiful children. I have obtained the six figure income, the overpriced house, the nice vehicles and the standard issue suburban family toys.

However, except for the family, everything else feels empty. Like when I was a little boy, I still feel like there is something more. Not more things or bigger houses or fancier cars, but rather something more…meaningful. I believe that we are here for much more than just obtaining things and increasing our societal status.

A number of years ago I started on a spiritual quest. I have been exploring different belief structures, different spiritual practices and religions. I now consider myself sort of a spiritual explorer.

This blog is another one of my journeys. This one I decided to make public so that I could force myself to go more in depth and have others to help keep me motivated through it. I also am using it to help me get more habitual in my meditation and yoga practice. Two things that have made a huge impact on my life already.

I hope that you are intrigued and decide to follow along with me on this adventure.

  1. It occurs to me Sean that we are all on this incredible journey together….as a connected life leads one it leads us all. I am pleased to see you and to recognize myself for the first time, again.
